Tanalith® E is a water-based, high pressure wood preservative that is industrially applied. When impregnated into the timber through a high pressure process, Tanalith® E components bond with the wood structure and cannot easily be removed, helping to significantly extend its service life.
A unique combination of copper and organic biocides, Tanalith® E has over three decades of real-world performance and testing across numerous aggressive, independent field trials.

Timber treated with Tanalith® E is trademarked as Tanalised® timber. Over the years, due to the success of Tanalith® E, the word ‘Tanalised’ has been used to refer to treated timber. Other treated timbers may not offer the same long-term performance credentials as Tanalised® timber. So if you are planning a project, make sure that the timber you are specifying has genuinely been treated with Tanalith® E wood preservative.
