Tanalith® MF

With a continued focus on reducing the overall carbon impact of a project, we have developed Tanalith® MF.  A water-based, high-pressure wood preservative, Tanalith® MF is both metal-free and VOC-free.

Specifically designed to treat pine, Tanalith® MF provides effective protection against fungal and insect attack (non-termite) for out-of-ground contact timbers. Suitable for Use Classes 1 to 3, Tanalith® MF is particularly effective for above the ground cladding, fencing panels and other landscaping timbers.

Approved colours from the Tanalith® Lifestyle range can be added to Tanalith® MF during the high-pressure vacuum process, providing opportunity for bright, exciting medium-term built-in colour.

The appearance of pine treated with Tanalith® MF remains unchanged as the product is supplied as a clear wood preservative. Why Tanalith® MF?

Re-use and recyclability

Timber treated with Tanalith® MF is classed as non-hazardous material and can be recycled or re-used at end of life (subject to local waste regulations).

BPR authorised

Tanalith® MF is a water-based, metal and VOC-free preservative with BPR (Biocidal Products Regulation) authorisation, passing all necessary environmental, human and animal health risk assessments.

Colour enhancement

The appearance of timber treated with Tanalith® MF remains unchanged as the product is supplied as a clear wood preservative. Approved colours from the Tanalith® Lifestyle range can be added to colour the timber during the high-pressure vacuum process.
