Wolmanac® DCOIT 

Wolmanac® DCOIT is the first oilborne preservative innovated in decades and is designed to protect wood against its natural enemies – termites and fungal decay.

It is an organic, broad-spectrum biocide and is not a Restricted Use Pesticide. While it has many uses, its primary function it protecting utility poles.

Active Ingredient: 4,5-Dichloro-2-N-Octyl-4-Isothiazolin-3-One

Uses: While it has many uses, Wolmanac® DCOIT is primarily used to protect utility poles

Hardware: Any hardware used for Penta or CCA poles can be used for Wolmanac® DCOIT poles

Climbability: Wolmanac® DCOIT poles are easy to climb and have low to no odor

AWPA: Listed in the American Wood Protection Association Book of Standards (UC4B) with a retention requirement of .20 pcf
